I'm a woman who has gone through an incredably amount of change the past 10 years. Life lessons piled upon life lessons. I have a little boy. I love all things girly, shiny and sparkly. I also love the outdoors, shooting, getting dirty, and testing my limits. This blog is a combination of all the facets that make up me, and hopefull, with a little luck, will be as entertaining to you as it is for me.

The Kiddo woke up this morning obsessed with going to Arizona. I'm not really sure why. Anyway Happy Thanksgiving to everybody, especially my family. I love you guys and miss you more then usual today.

Awww. I love and miss you guys too. As to what you're losing out on ... the bird is smelling good, my gravy is always a 50/50 chance of turning out right, there's extra stuffing (with plenty of raisins), the breadmaker has just been started, I'm putting mushrooms in the peas and chopped pecans between the mashed yams and marshmallows, I think I ruined the apple-raisin pie that I made instead of mincemeat but the pumpkin looks okay, and your younger sis and BIL are bringing mashed taters and cobbler ... All for six people unless your other sis and BIL come and bring appetites (other bro and his lady might make it for dessert).
addenda: the gravy was thin but not salty or lumpy so it counts as a success, the bread died in the machine when we has a 25 minute power outage during the bake cycle, mushrooms in the peas was a yawn, nuts on the yams was good but not wow-good, the pie wasn't quite ruined but mincemeat would have been better, and bro and his lady made it in time to help us scarf it down. I wish you could have been here, although you probably would have agreed with the one complaining about not enough marshmallows on the yams :-P
