sleep

I think it's a myth, at least once you have kids it is!! I cant' remember the last time I actually got to sleep in... which I'm sure you all are tired of hearing about by now :)

Anyway I saw this article on how your sleep position says something about your personality. Interesting.

What Does Your Sleep Position Reveal About Your Personality

I am a side sleeper, and while I usually lay down all curled up in the fetal position I don't actually go to SLEEP that way, generally I stretch out first and I always hug a pillow so I suppose that makes me a "yearner" sleeper. It says: Yearners are noted to be open-minded and still cynical, suspicious, and stubborn about sticking to decisions once they are made.

hmm perhaps that's why I get soooo ticked when things don't go according to my plan and time line.

I wonder what it says about my personality that I have taught myself to sleep on my side (one leg stretched down like yearner, other up close like fetus) because sleeping on my back leaves my back achy in the morning.
I can fall asleep quicker/easier in soldier position, though sometimes I'll stretch myself in starfish a little too long and drop off that way. I don't like it when Starfish happens, because in addition to whatever it does to my back it seems to be a sure route to weird dreams, or even nightmares.

Lol, I guess I am like C. I either sleep on my side wish on leg sretched and the other curled up or free fall to sleep. Rarely do I sleep like a starfish. :)

I can't sleep on my back either, though for me it's neck crinks like you wouldn't believe! (ow)

Last night I keep thinking about this article.

This morning I woke up as I expected too (yearner). Gave The Kiddo his 6am meds and went back to sleep... woke up from THAT on my back in starfish, having a very bad dream about the Kiddo and kindergarten.

Interesting.

I think it's wierd that we all sleep in the same general position. the one leg stretched out and the other curled up. I do that with my arms too, one stretched out and one curled under my head. wonder if that's a genetics thing of something ?
